This year the Jackfruit Festival took place at Pookot Lake, Wayanad. Over three days more than a hundred recipes were presented to demonstrate the fantastic potential of jackfruits. Many people from Thrikkaipetta participated and cooked some delicious snacks and meals on the spot made with the famous fruit. The “Children’s Club” of the village was also there selling some tasty “Chaka ice creams” to the visitors. Once more, the event was a great success.
